Baskin Robbins Gold Medal Ribbon ice cream seems to have been around forever, doesn’t it? You’d be forgiven for thinking it has been there since Baskin Robbins started in 1945. Who would have thought a simple combination of Vanilla ice cream and Chocolate ice cream with a Caramel Ribbon swirled in would bring so much happyness? Gold Medal Ribbon started off as a Flavour of the Month for August 2012, and its popularity made sure it was here to stay!


1. Inspiration
The 2012 London Olympics inspired this ice cream. We took true to the Olympic spirit. With hard work and grit, we churned out a stunning flavour. Our efforts worked a treat as we put all of our resources into the trusted flavours of Vanilla and Chocolate. However, every athlete needs that edge. That little something that truly changes the game. We found that in the Caramel ribbon.

2. Success Story
Our classic cream team, Vanilla and Chocolate, put in the hours as they strived for success. With the caramel ribbon swirled in, they had no trouble in standing tall on the podium. This ice cream won first prize in ‘Spreading Happyness’, safe to say, this is our specialty!

3. Key To Success
Before we made this delicious ice cream, we had a hard time deciding which flavours to use. Ultimately, we settled for the classics, Baskin Robbins Vanilla ice cream and Baskin Robbins Chocolate ice cream. We knew that this duo would never let us down. Our master creation was such a hit, we decided to keep it as a permanent flavour in our range of 31 flavours!
